Money Doesn’t Talk, It $wears.
People do different things with their money,
Some support their families some spend it on honeys,
People do different things with their cash,
Some save it all up some spend it out on the lash,
Waste it or taste it do as you please,
Some blow it on horses some blow it on speed.
A penny for your notion, I’ll give you two,
You can’t waste money, coz money wastes you,
You work a lifetime just to pay for your casket,
But then find out they only accept plastic.
You sell half your wit just for a lousy tenner,
Then kill the rest of it by drinking the Stella,
Some people buy cars that get them speed tickets,
Some spend it on bribes to please their critics,
Tell me if money is the root of all malice,
Why does the Pope live in a palace?
Well you get all the girls when your wallets thick,
Money talks does it? I’ve never heard a note,
That spoke a better line than any I’ve wrote,
I bet the money’s Daddies not his,
So put your money where your mouth is,
Just file an attorney and make some more money,
